About

A catalog for the books you already own

YourLibrary catalogs the books on your own shelves, not a wishlist on someone else's website. Point a phone camera, or a USB barcode scanner, at a book barcode and the title, author, cover, publisher and a short summary arrive by themselves, filed on the shelf you choose. When a barcode is out of reach, search the title instead. Every shelf keeps its own count and its own value, so the collection in your living room stops being a guess.

It is built for people with a real shelf at home: collectors filling gaps in a series, households merging two libraries, small reading groups, and readers who lend books and then forget who has what. Open your shelves to the readers you trust, browse theirs, and ask to borrow a title in one tap. YourLibrary is an independent project, built by a small team of readers and developers who keep their own collections in it, so each shelf, scan mode and sharing setting exists because we needed it ourselves. The catalog stays yours: you decide which shelves friends can see, and you can remove any book at any time.

Shelves that keep themselves in order

Scan one book or a whole box. The catalog does the typing, every shelf keeps its own count, and you always know what your collection is worth.
